Meet the creepy-crawly collection of exotic bugs at UMaine

Started in 1981 by pest management specialist Jim Dill, the live arthropod collection at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Pest Management Office is used in educational programs throughout the state. Today, the collection includes a number of exotic arthropods, including a giant African millipede, Madagascar hissing cockroaches and giant walking sticks from Southeast Asia.
