Lamoine shipwreck survivor consults on ‘Life of Pi’

Lamoine resident Steve Callahan recounts his experience being shipwrecked on a life raft in the Atlantic Ocean for 76 days in 1982 and how it led three decades later to him working closely with director Ang Lee as a consultant on the film "Life of Pi." The video was recorded on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Callahan's home.
