His memere left a notebook of songs behind

Portland musician Rob Sylvain is reviving old Acadian folk songs written down, from memory, in a notebook by his grandmother more 50 years ago. Sylvain will be performing selections from his memere, Elisa Thibodeau’s, notebook Wednesday night, June 5, at Blue on Congress Street in Portland.
