Gov. LePage: I told department heads not to speak with lawmakers

In an interview with reporters, Gov. Paul LePage said he would not allow his department heads to speak with the powerful Appropriations Committee on Tuesday, August 13. "This government is not going to be run by committee. It's going to be run by the chief executive of the state," he said.
