Dems blast LePage on Medicaid expansion rhetoric,

On Tuesday, House Speaker Mark Eves, D-North Berwick, and Assistant Senate Majority Leader Anne Haskell, D-Portand, held a joint press conference where they criticized Gov. Paul LePage's opposition to Medicaid expansion and said Democrats would renew their effort to accept federal funding for that expansion in the next session. House Minority Leader Ken Fredette, R-Newport, said the idea of expanding the publicly funded health care program without putting the burden on Maine taxpayers is "too good to be true."
