Brewer police captain pleads guilty to driving while drunk

BANGOR, Maine — The Brewer police captain charged with drunken driving Saturday night in Bangor pleaded guilty to the charge Wednesday at the Penobscot Judicial Center. Capt. Christopher Martin, 41, of Bangor was sentenced to 48 hours in the Sagadahoc County alternative sentencing program in October instead of serving jail time.
