Argyle pipe welder casting new musket, base for soldier on Civil War monument

Peter Crockett of Argyle, an artist and pipe welder, has been hired by the Orono Historical Society to refurbish the town's Civil War monument. Weather and vandals damaged the statue and its pedestal over the last century, and Crockett is working to refurbish the monument for the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in 2015.
