Angus King discusses challenges facing food banks

U.S. Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, participated in a tour of the Hannaford grocery store on Forest Avenue in Portland to learn more about the Cooking Matters program, run locally by the Good Shepherd Food Bank to help low-income Mainers learn how to buy and prepare more nutritious food with their limited resources. King spoke about the challenges facing the Good Shepherd Food Bank and the importance of programs like Cooking Matters.
