5-month-old moose enjoys a meal at Maine Wildlife Park

By Aislinn Sarnacki, BDN Staff

A 5-month-old moose gets comfortable at his new home, a large enclosure at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, in October 2013. All of the animals in the park are considered non-releasable because they were either injured, orphaned or somehow became dependent on people. This particular moose was orphaned. The older female moose in the video is not his mother, but tolerates him, nonetheless.
