Veterans Day, soccer and Bar Harbor Bed Races

Team Beachbums races down Cottage Street during the 6th annual Bed Races in Bar Harbor Saturday morning.  Each team has five members and one has to stay on the bed during the race, while the others propell the contraption. Ten teams participated in the  race this year.  It was organized by the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce as a light-hearted closing event of the Early Bird Pajama Sale. Team Wicked Whippers won the race, setting a new course record of 32.75 seconds.
