OLD TOWN – Wayne and Beverly Therrien celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 10, 2010. Their children took them by limousine to Bar Harbor for a special meal while reminiscing about the first “50″ years. The happy couple were married on Sept. 10, 1960, at St. Joseph Church in Old Town by the Rev. Maurice H. Lemelin. Wayne’s brother, George, was the best man and Beverly’s best friend, Mary Beaulieu, was the maid of honor. Wayne retired at the age of 57 with Uniroyal/Goodrich with 35 years in tire sales. Beverly was a very successful homemaker working various jobs while keeping the house running and raising three boys. They spend their retirement between their summer cottage on Schoodic Lake and their winter home in Naples, Fla. They have three children, David Therrien and his wife, Cindy, of Milford, Kenny Therrien and his wife, Lisa, of Milford and Garry Therrien and Jane Kelley of Levant. They were also blessed with two grandchildren, Ryan Therrien of Old Town and Justin Therrien of Milford.
