ORONO – Samantha Lott and Benjamin Hale exchanged wedding vows on July 18, 2009, at Eliot United Methodist Church in Eliot. A reception was held at Cochecho Country Club in Dover, N.H. Samantha is the daughter of William and Andrea Lott of Eliot, and Benjamin is the son of Kathy Nitschke of Greenbush and the late Marcus Hale of Holden. Samantha is a 1998 graduate of Marshwood High School in Eliot, a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Art degree in international affairs, and a 2004 graduate of Harvard University with a Master of Education degree in arts-in-education. Samantha is the director of program at Girl Scouts of Maine. Benjamin is a 1999 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Art degree in political science and will graduate in 2010 from the University of Maine with a master’s degree in teaching with a concentration in social studies. The couple honeymooned in Nova Scotia and reside in Orono.
