WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sagarika Sengupta and Robert Kotredes exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 6, 2010, at ITC Sonar in Kolkata, India, with Pandit Subrata Bhattacharya officiating. The reception was also at ITC Sonar in Kolkata, India. Sagarika is the daughter of Utpal and Sunanda Sengupta of Kolkata, India. Robert is the son of Thomas and Debra Kotredes of Bangor. Sagarika graduated in 2000 from Hyderabad Public School in Hyderabad, India, in 2004 from University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science, and in 2009 from MIT’s Sloan School of Management with a Master of Business and Administration degree. She works for the Washington Post Co. Robert graduated in 2000 from Bangor High School in Bangor, in 2004 from MIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. He is a self-employed software design engineer. The couple honeymooned in Goa, India, and reside in Washington, D.C. There will be a wedding celebration on Aug. 14 in Bangor.
