Comments for: Revelers crowd downtown Bangor to celebrate New Year’s

Downtown Countdown activities in Bangor on New Year’s Eve included the inaugural Paul Bunyan pancake eating contest at Bagel Central and the beach ball drop at midnight as thousand packed West Market Square.

    Bangor was well represented by the booth with all the glass pipes & bongs, the dozen or so people who were openly smoking joints, several drunks who were shoving their way through anyone & everyone, tons of cigarette smoke filling the air and the two suggestive giant blue balls that were bounced around near the other lighted ball. All whilst dozens of teenagers filled the crowd to experience it all. Bravo Bangor Downtown.
