Brightly colored hot air balloons painted Aroostook County skies Friday during Presque Isle’s 11th annual Crown of Maine Balloon Fest. The festival runs Aug. 21-24 and features ballooners from across the U.S. and Canada. Presque Isle photographer Dave Allen took a ride in one of the balloons to see a bird’s eye view of the festival.
