Palmer 50th Anniversary

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Lloyd Stuart Palmer Sr. and Marie Elizabeth (Poulin) Palmer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Der Dutchman Restaurant in Plain City, on April 9, 2011. Lloyd and Marie were married April 8, 1961, at St. Mary’s Church in Fairfield, Maine, with Henry Poulin as the best man and Theresa (Poulin) Bernier as the maid of honor.

Lloyd, son of the late Manley and Edith (Stuart) Palmer attended schools in Newport, Maine. He served for 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, including two tours in Southeast Asia, and worked for General Electric in Worthington for 21 years. Marie, daughter of the late Leo and Ida (Rossignol) Poulin, attended Lawrence High School. She worked at the Columbus Fair Auto Auction in Obetz and was a homemaker. Lloyd enjoys piloting his flight simulator, and Marie enjoys several arts and crafts, especially crocheting. Both also play golf. Lloyd and Marie have one son, Lloyd S. Palmer Jr. of Hilliard.
