GRAY, Maine — Bitterly cold temperatures and a potential snowstorm are expected to put the state into a deep freeze over the next few days.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures throughout Maine are expected to fall dramatically Wednesday evening and into Thursday.

High temperatures Thursday aren’t expected to break 20 degrees, and wind chill factors could make it feel below zero, according to the NWS.

Another winter storm is expected to arrive Saturday night into Sunday as well.
