KENNEBUNK, Maine — The town has gotten a lot of unwanted attention recently, with the ongoing release of “The List” — but not everyone downtown is keeping a low profile.
Folks like Frank Enstein and couples such as Jack and Jill have been hanging out on Main Street day and night. They’re all part of an annual celebration of Halloween, put on display by local merchants and businessmen.
Rumor has it that the ghosts of two former employees haunt the 200-year-old Kennebunk Inn. How else to explain the occasional flying wine glass? Outside the inn a skeleton bartender pours drinks in celebration of the inn’s storied paranormal activity.
