The Bangor Y purchased and erected a yurt at the Bangor YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan in Ellsworth during fall 2012, to be used for outdoor programming and events. The yurt, located at the edge of Branch Lake, is surrounded by a custom-made porch that is wheelchair accessible.
