Kevin Isherwood, 21, of Warwick, R.I., examines a piece of chain in a Unity College class as part of his major in captive wildlife care and education. He and students Jen Amidon, 21, of Trumbull, Conn., and Alex Bach, 21, of Pittsburgh, Penn., were working on a design for a mobile for elephants. Their major and all other parts of the college curriculum will be tied to the mitigation of global climate change.
