BANGOR, Maine — The inaugural BDN Maine Man Expo presented by Friend & Friend is being held Saturday and Sunday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

This family-friendly expo features a golf simulator, a NASCAR simulator, hot-wing and pie-eating contests, an arm wrestling tournament, an ugly tattoo contest, indoor paintball, a mechanical bull, archery and a live performance by Paranoid Social Club.

In addition to being the first expo of its kind in Maine, the event is also the first entertainment expo to be held in the new Cross insurance Center.

“We are really excited to bring this fun and participatory expo to Bangor,” said Pat Lemieux, BDN Events producer. “We think of it as a big party, and a chance to break in the new Cross Center with a truly dynamic event. We’ve had a blast planning it and can’t wait for people to come and check it out.”

The BDN Maine Man Expo presented by Friend & Friend runs 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Admission is $5, free for children under 12.
