It is always interesting to see how light changes. We walk by the same scene every day, not noticing a building or street scene. The street lights sometimes show details of a place by casting light in a way that gives the city a new face.

Bangor is not famous for its elaborate light displays, but it is certainly worth the time to stop and look upward. The city glow can sharpen the texture of buildings and shadows that pass among the sidewalks.

In the places where the dark meets the light, the casual city of Bangor can come alive, if you’re paying close attention.
