Paul Fazzi, 21, of Augusta started rapping when he was 9. “I’m still never givin’ up on my dreams. I’m a feen for this music like I need it to breathe,” he raps in his original “Don’t worry.”

Fazzi doesn’t like talking about his past, which has involved jail and drugs. He has been clean more than eight months. He’s working odd jobs, looking for something steady. It’s the writing and rapping that keep him going.

The addiction will always be with him, he said. He fights it every day. The music is the out.

He may be reached at fazzi.paul@yahoo.com.
