Last-second shot lifts Hampden girls past Nokomis in quarterfinal

Courtney Dunton hit a runner from the top of the key with one second left, lifting the Broncos to a 42-40 victory over Nokomis of Newport in their Class A North girls basketball quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center on Friday evening.
