ROCKLAND, Maine — Come join host Gordon Bok at the 2nd presentation of Working on the Water, a gathering of fishermen and mariners who will share their experiences through original songs, stories, and poetry at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum. Patterned after the highly successful West coast Fisherpoet’s Gathering, this event was held at Rockland’s Sail, Power and Steam Museum for the first time this past November, to an enthusiastic audience. This 2nd gathering includes retired schooner captain Ken Barnes, pilot Robert “B.G.” Bernstein, lobster fisherman Nat Hussey, and sailor/helmsmen (helms people?)
