STATEWIDE, Maine — Weber Insurance Group held its annual Christmas dinner party in Gorham, N.H., recently.
Camillia Yeaton of Weber Insurance of Farmington, Maine made and donated two quilts to be auctioned with the proceeds from each quilt going to a charity of the successful bidder’s choice. The auction raised more than $900.
Winner of the Mile a Minute quilt was Randy Lincoln of the Randy Lincoln Agency in Houlton, Maine. Randy’s choice of charity was the Wounded Warrior Project, which serves veterans and service members and their families who incurred a physical or mental illness, injury or wound related to their military service on or after Sept. 11, 2001.
The Bird House quilt was won by Derek Grant and Jamie Morrison, who works for Kimball Insurance in Guilford, Maine. GRant an Morrison chose to support The Piscataquis Santa Project which provide coats, boots, warm clothing and toys for children who live in any of the five school districts in the Piscataquis area.
