PORTLAND, Maine — More than 1,000 people are expected to unite at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Payson Park, Baxter Blvd., for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The walk is the largest fundraising event held nationwide specifically dedicated to support advocacy, clinical trial enrollment, and programs and services such as the 24-hour helpline, caregiver support groups, education and training, and care management.
The memorial tribute will be followed by a 3.5 mile walk around Baxter Blvd.
Onsite parking available at Payson Park and in ”Dyers Flat” area next to playground
