AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine’s Volunteer Lawyers Project, with the support of the Maine Regional Library System, will offer its second free legal information clinic at libraries across Maine 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.
The clinic, presented by Jim Morse an attorney from Legal Services for the Elderly, will focus on end-of-life legal issues including wills, directives, and probating a small estate.
The presentation will be streamed to library computer terminals and be recorded for future web access.
Anyone interested in attending a clinic should check with their local public library for schedules and availability or go online to www.bit.ly/legalinfoclinic.
Starting in the spring of 2013, VLP will begin to offer live computer based appointments for people with low incomes in rural Maine who need to consult with a volunteer lawyer.
