BANGOR, Maine — Kathleen M. Hayden, Vice President and Branch Manager, Bangor Savings Bank presented members of Penobscot Community Health Care’s Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse with a check for $1,000 on Friday, May 31. Unlimited Solutions received a high number of write-in votes as part of the Community Matters More Campaign to win the funding.
Carrie Lemos, OTR/L, MHRT-C, Clubhouse Executive Director, states, “Clubhouse members are thrilled to have been selected and are proud to receive this financial support. The success of our model relies greatly on the support of the community and we are grateful to Bangor Savings Bank and all those who voted for us.”
Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse focuses on recovery from mental illness through the use of a therapeutic environment that includes responsibilities within the Clubhouse and outside the Clubhouse. The model features work and membership as primary methods for providing individuals with opportunities in employment, housing, education, skill development, and social activities.
