ROCKLAND, Maine — Dr. Paul Holman will give a slide talk, “Internet and Revolution in the Arab Spring,” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Rockland Public Library. He will discuss how is technology such as cell phones, text messages, CDs, flash drives, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Skype is affecting the so-called “Arab Spring.”
Holman is a visiting professor of international relations at the University of Maine, serving concurrently as an adjunct professor at the Naval War College.
This event is co-sponsored by the Camden Conference Community Events Series in anticipation of the 26th annual Camden Conference, The Middle East: What Next?, set for Feb. 22-24.
