BANGOR, Maine — Amy Fried, professor of political science at the University of Maine,  will speak on health care at the  Take Back Democracy Brown Bag Luncheon Series noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine, 96 Harlow St.

Organizers said the series is designed to explore the major issues that might be lost in the advertising about candidates  before the upcoming elections.

Fried’s  talk will be be followed by discussion in which participants may share questions, concerns and perspectives.

The Brown Bag lunch discussions will be held each week until the election.  Coffee and tea will be provided.  Bring a lunch, if you wish.
