BUCKSPORT, Maine — For every large pizza sold during October, Bucksport House of Pizza will donate $1 to help local cancer patients and their loved ones, by partnering with the Cancer Support Center of Maine.
The goal for Bucksport House of Pizza is to sell 3,000 large pizzas, said owner Dino Kisamitakis.
The center provides free support and services to those affected by cancer, in addition to offering free cancer
risk reduction education to schools and social organizations. The Support Center relies on the generosity of individuals and businesses like the House of Pizza to fund support, education and outreach programs.
For more information on services offered, ways to be a volunteer or make donations, call the Cancer Support Center of Maine at 207-469-6363, or go to www.cancersupportcenterofmaine.org.
