ST. GEORGE, Maine — The St. George Historical Society’s meeting on April 25, at the St. George Grange Hall, will feature Bill Anderson, who will share his fishing experiences in the 1960s on the Grand Banks off Newfoundland. He also will talk about fishing on George’s Bank in the Gulf of Maine, and the Nantucket Shoals in the 1970s, ’80s, and early ’90s.
There will be a DVD presentation of one of those fishing trips.
There will be a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge but a collection will be taken to pay for the use of the hall. Bill’s talk will follow at 7:30 p.m.
