Seacoast Idol auditions on May 4

EXETER, N.H. — The Exeter 375th Event Committee is pleased to announce the Seacoast Idol 2013 now in its seventh season. Auditions will be held starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 4, across the street from the Exeter Town Hall at 10 Front Street in the Exeter Town Office Building due to water damage.

The show will be held if ready at the Exeter Town Hall on Sunday, May 19th and will start promptly at 3 p.m.

Tess Conroy, Mrs. New Hampshire 2013 will host the event. Mrs. New Hampshire will compete for the Mrs. America title later this year.

The Idol Event has supported the interests of the Exeter Rotary Club, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of the Seacoast and the Exeter Theater Company. This year it will supporting Exeter’s 375th and its year-long activities. An invitation has been accepted by Governor Maggie Hassan’s office to address Exeter’s 375th at the event.

Idol participants have competed for the American Idol to the Miss America Event. For more information and/or scheduling an audition please contact “Sandy” Martin or Amber Evans at sandym@mfe.com or call 603-778-0822. Singers are asked to bring their CD for background music. Qualified contestants will then advance to the final show to be held on Sunday, May 19th at the Exeter Town Hall.
