ORRINGTON, Maine — The Orrington Fire Department reminds everyone to clean away snow from all exits. A blocked exit due to snow build up can make exiting a home in an emergency impossible.

Be fire safe and have working smoke detectors. Have a family fire escape plan and practice it often with whole family being sure all exits are clean and easily opened.
