Saco & Biddeford Savings employees receive Banking Operations diplomas

SACO, Maine — Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution, Maine’s oldest bank, is pleased to announce that eight of its employees recently received Bank Operation Diplomas from the Center for Financial Training Education Alliance — William Hoyle, John Mondor, Tammy Perkins, Michelle Prejean, Tim Villemaire, Jo-Anna Laverriere, Kathleen Williamson and Stephanie Bailey. The CFTEA curriculum offers training in banking fundamentals, including giving graduates a working knowledge of accounting, legal and regulatory aspects of banking, supervision, payment systems, and other key banking operations topics.

“With the changes in banking regulations and technology, staying current is vital to ensure the highest level of customer service and quality. We are proud of our eight diploma recipients for the extra time and effort they put in to earn these advanced diplomas,” said Alie DiCarlo, CFTEA Instructor and Learning & Development Manager of the Saco-based bank.
