AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine’s Regulatory Fairness Board will meet 10 a.m.-noon Jan. 22, in the Secretary of State’s conference room in the Nash School building, located on the corner of Capitol and Sewall streets.
The Board is chaired by the Secretary of State and is composed of four members who are or have been owners or operators of Maine businesses. It is staffed by Maine’s Small Business Advocate, Peggy Schaffer.
The Maine Regulatory Fairness Board will be hearing from the Finance Authority of Maine and the Small Business Administration on access to capital by small businesses. Other business the board will discuss will include a review of the annual report to the Legislature and developing a work plan for 2014. The meeting is open to the public, and will be broadcast over GoToMeeting® on the internet.
