ReEnergy Holdings to hold event in celebration of National Bioenergy Day

LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine  – ReEnergy Holdings will help celebrate National Bioenergy Day on Oct. 17 with an event at the company’s Livermore Falls facility. Bioenergy Day will be marked with events in 13 states and Canada.

The Maine event will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m., with tours at 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at ReEnergy Livermore Falls, 267 Diamond Road. Refreshments.

Individuals of note who plan to attend include state Sen. Tom Saviello, District 18; Rep. Deane Rykerson, District 151; Rep. Jeff Timberlake, District 96; Kristal Flagg, town manager of Livermore Falls; Bob Cleaves, president, Biomass Power Association.

ReEnergy Holdings LLC owns and operates power facilities that use forest-derived woody biomass and other wood waste residues to produce homegrown, renewable energy. ReEnergy operates in six states and owns four facilities in Maine: A 48-megawatt facility in Stratton; a 39-megawatt facility in Livermore Falls; a 37-megawatt facility in Fort Fairfield facility; and a 39-megawatt facility in Ashland. ReEnergy also owns a recycling facility in Lewiston.
