Prom tuxedo renters support Manna Ministries

BANGOR, Maine – The Henry’s Bridal Boutique and Formal Wear will rent any in-stock tuxedo for $99 to prom-goers who donate non-perishable food items.

All donations will be presented to Manna Ministries in Bangor at the conclusion of the prom season, typically in early June.

David Lincoln, The Henry’s Manager, said in a press release, “We own our inventory of tuxedos so we can offer the discount while helping people in our community. We have always donated to many local high schools’ Project Graduation programs. The food drive seems to be a good way for us to give additional help to the community while the kids in turn get the satisfaction of knowing they have helped their fellow man.”

The Henry’s Bridal Boutique and Formal Wear is a family-owned business located in The Penobscot Plaza on Washington Street in Bangor. The food drive offer is open to anyone renting a tuxedo for their 2013 Prom. Students are encouraged to go to the boutique several weeks before Prom to select their tuxedo and to be measured for proper fit.
