PORTLAND, Maine —Might & Main, a design firm based in Portland, has won the Best of Show in the 2013 HOW Promotion Design Awards. The award-winning work — creating the brand and supporting materials for local hotspot Eventide Oyster Co. — was selected for top honors from nearly 1,000 entries and 70 award winners in this year’s awards.
The project, launched alongside Eventide’s opening last year, is a showcase of Might & Main’s strengths in branding and design, and included logos, signage, menus, online presence, and various pieces of creative collateral. Together with the award winning team at Eventide Oyster Co., the winning design strategy and execution helped launch Eventide into the national spotlight and solidify its reputation in Portland’s revered food scene.
“Working with the owners of Eventide is like a designer’s dream. Their clear aesthetic vision and dedication suits them perfectly for our detailed design strategy and execution, and the results show the evidence of a successful partnership. We’re very proud of the cohesive brand system we designed for Eventide, and we look forward to continued work with them in the future.” – Sean Wilkinson, Principal
As the Best of Show winner, Might & Main’s work will be spotlighted in a two-page spread in the September 2013 issue of HOW magazine and on HOWdesign.com.
