Perry’s Famous Clams meets Farm to Table

SEARSPORT, Maine —  The Brick House Restaurant announces the exciting joining of forces Shawn Stemp and Angie Kibbe Stemp who bring a combined 50 years of restaurant experience, and Joesph E Perry Jr. and Marybeth McGinley who have owned and operated The Brick House for the past three years.

This foursome will be adding fresh farm to table offerings along with new homemade delicious combinations accenting the philosophy of The Brick House Restaurant to maintain high quality, made-from-scratch food, at a great price.

Shawn has over 30 years working in high end kitchens from California to Massachusetts and Angie has worked in several of the top rated restaurants in Central and Western Massachusetts. “We are all excited to join forces with two fun, experienced restaurant people who have the same enthusiasm Joe and I have for food and great customer service”.

The Brick House Restaurant believes in giving back and beginning with the reopening after winter break will donate .50 of each cup of coffee sold to the Searsport Congregational and Methodist Church Food Cupboard, in their ongoing commitment to the community.

Adding to the existing fresh offerings, The Brick House will be adding fresh baked bread, homemade ricotta cheese and will collaborate with farms to bring fresh local produce in an effort to support local farmers.

“With our combined small town community spirit, we hope to put Searsport, Maine on the map as a go to place for great eating. Our customers are local folk who appreciate freshly prepared, affordable meals”. The addition of Shawn and Angie allows us to expand our hours and become more of a full service restaurant. The Brick House will be open for breakfast and lunch and dinner, with entertainment on Friday evenings from March through October.
