CAMDEN, Maine — Penobscot Bay Ringers handbell choir, will present a workshop 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 13, at the First Congregational Church, 55 Elm St., Camden.
Penobscot Bay Ringers will teach workshop attendees the fundamentals needed to make beautiful music with handbells, and they will share some of the “tricks of the trade.” The group rehearses on Thursday evenings at the First Congregational Church in Camden.
The ability to read music is helpful but not absolutely necessary. The workshop is designed for individuals age 13 and older. Advance registration is required by calling Leigh Smith at 207-230-6628 or email penobscotbayringers@gmail.com no later than Friday, Oct. 12.
