AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine’s first international Octoberfest, featuring 35 beers from nine countries, will be celebrated 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Augusta Armory.
Brew-tasting will take place under tents inside the Armory served from both kegs and bottles. In addition to a wide variety of fall beers from the U.S. countries represented will be Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Ireland, Holland, and Scotland.
Home brewing supplies and information will be provided by Central Street Farmhouse of Bangor and live music by the JT Lockwood Band in addition to food, games, contests and prizes will add to the festivities.

The Central Maine International Octoberfest is being presented by Central Maine Festivals known for its annual festival of Maine brewers every April at the Augusta Armory.
