Maine Internet Radio announces the launch of a one of a kind web stream called Rock N Country. Beginning Nov. 8, Rock N Country will stream the biggest country and rock hits from the past decade. Rock N Country can be found on the homepage of www.maineinternetradio.com.
The stream features more than 1500 country and rock songs and never more than three commercials per hour. The stream is free and can be accessed from mobile devices as well as computers. Longtime country radio personality Paul Dupuis is the host of the stream.
“There’s no station like this one on the air in Maine,” says Jeff Solari, President and Founder of Maine Internet Radio. “We are combining the two most popular formats in the state onto one convenient stream. Its outdated thinking to assume that in this era of internet radio and I-Pods that people want to be locked into one genre of music. People much prefer variety.”
Maine Internet Radio currently features eight streams. In addition to the Rock N Country, listeners can log onto www.maineinternetradio.com to hear:
The Maine Comedy Chowdah: 24/7 material from Bob Marley, Tim Sample and other Maine and New England Comedians.
The Rebel playing the rocking hits of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s hosted by Jeff Solari.
The Alt Vault with Cori Skall which cranks out the best alternative rock of the past 25 years.
The Jet with Sky Taylor featuring up-tempo contemporary hit music with no hip hop or old rock mixed in. The Jet is the perfect mix of music to make your work day fly by.
