BANGOR, Maine — During June, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate participated in the American Red Cross Donor Day program at the Bangor Donor Center.

“Everyone here at the Bangor Donor Center would like to say Thank You to Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate,” said Rebecca MacManus, Customer Service Representative for the American Red Cross. “Thanks to their generous help and sponsorship, we had a very successful month in the Donor Center. The summer months are tough for us with school vacations and the beautiful weather, so partnerships with local businesses are very valuable to us. We appreciate all the support that was given to us by this fantastic organization”.

A Donor Day is an opportunity for organizations to partner with the Red Cross by having a presence in the Donor Center. It is a special event for groups of five or more people to come to the Donor Center, on 900 B Hammond Street in Bangor, and donate blood.
