PENOBSCOT and BLUE HILL, Maine — Maine Farmland Trust and Land For Good will host Leasing Your Land: An Informational Workshop for Landowners 12:30-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Howard Room at Blue Hill Library.

The first portion of the workshop will be a one-hour farm tour of leased land at the Mitchell Farm in Penobscot and adjoining land owned by Jo Barrett and Dennis King. The presentation portion of the workshop will begin at 2 p.m.

Workshop leaders will be Pete Westover of Conservation Works LLC, Jo Barrett of Land for Good and Erica Buswell of Maine Farmland Trust. Light refreshments sourced directly from local farms will be offered.
