Komen Race enters partnership with supermarket

STATEWIDE, Maine — The Maine Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced a partnership with Maine Race for the Cure statewide sponsor Hannaford Supermarkets to encourage early race registration and fundraising. Participants who register for the Komen Maine Race for the Cure on or before Saturday, June 30, will have a chance to win a $100 Hannaford Supermarkets gift card. Also, participants who raise at least $100 by the same date will have their names entered for a second chance in the drawing. The 2012 Maine Races will take place Sept. 9 in Portland and Sept. 16 in Bangor.
