DEXTER, Maine — Kiwanis Club of Dexter Sunrise members contribute more than 2,000 volunteer hours and many thousands of dollars each year to make life better for the community.
A 501 c(3) Non-Profit Foundation, Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis provides funding for the annual Christmas Box Program, Key Club at Dexter Regional High School, Builder’s Club, K-kids and Terrific Kids programs at Ridge View School. Recently added is the Fishing program at Ridge View School to help enrich the community.
Officers and Directors for the 2013-2014 Kiwanis year are: President Denise Dinsmore, Immediate Past President Frances Field, President Elect Ron Apel, Vice president Ella Munday, Treasurer Amy Young, Secretary Gary Nelson, Assistant Secretary Barbara Herring; directors, Ted Bryant, Maurice Neal, Linda-Jean Briggs, John Parola, Joan Banks, Jill Jones, Richard Pfirman, and Richard Bilodeau.
The Kiwanis Club of Dexter Sunrise meets at 6:45 a.m. every Friday, at the Noah’s Landing Restaurant.
