KINGFIELD, Maine — An Artwalk will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in downtown Kingfield. The event will include a reading by Farmington author Bryce Moore at the Kingfield Public Library, a Sidewalk Chalk event sponsored by the Kingfield Recreation Department in front of the Post Office and the announcement of the winner of the Call for Artists, an areawide request for art to be used for the Kingfield Artwalk logo design for the Winter 2012-2013 season at 7 p.m. at the Schoolhouse Gallery.  More than 24 works of art were submitted for consideration.
