Items needed for benefit auction

VINALHAVEN, Maine —  Jeannie Conway of Vinalhaven is organizing an auction Thursday, Aug. 2, to benefit the Bob Gagnon Cancer Fund, which provides resources for cancer patients in the midcoast, including a gasoline certificate program.

Donations of items for the auction, including gift certificates, discount coupons, services and merchandise are needed.
